Kum. Meghana Moorthy in concert –Vocal
Meghana Moorthy Balnad was born in a family of musicians. At the age of 4 she was initiated into formal classical music training under Vid Smt Veena Raghavendra, Puttur. Later she continued with Vid. Smt Rajarajeshwari Bhat, Madanthyar. Most recently, she has been learning from Smt Srividya Ramnath (disciple of Neyveli Shri Santhanagopalan), Sangeetha Kalacharya Shri J Venkatraman, Trichy and Shri Kunnakkudi Balamuralikrishna.
She is presently pursuing her studies at UW Madison.

at the Nath Auditorium in Maple Grove

9:00 AM: Thyagaraja's Pancharatnam renditions by Twin Cities and Visiting Musicians
11:00 AM: Flute Recital by Master Vaibhav Iyer 
Accompanied by: Srinath Hariharan on the violin, Sankaran Bhattatiripad on the mridangam and Balaji Chandran on the Ghatam
12:00 PM: Individual/Group renditions of Thyagaraja Krithis
MN GOD Satsang and Layyasaaram Institute of Indian Arts jointly present Kumari Gowri Salem in a concert titled "Naamam Ondre Podume". 
Gowri Salem is a sophomore from Naperville Chicago, a student of Sankari Krishnan. She will be accompanied on the violin by Sasi Madugula and on the mridangam by Sriram Iyer
