Friday September 27th 2013 we had a Carnatic Vocal concert by Dr Sankaran Mahadevan disciple of Prof T R Subramaniam. Dr Sankaran Mahadevan was accompanied by Sandhya Ramachandran on the violin, Ethirajan Ramanujan on the mridangam and Balaji Chandran on the Ghatam.
 
This was held at the Hindu Samaj Mandir in Rochester MN from 7pm to 9.30pm.
  
Coincidentally this happened a week before his guru, the maestro musician passed away.  Our deepest condolences.
